Add two medium apples
three medium carrots
four large stalks of celery

Make sure you wash fruit and vegetables good remove core from apple slice into chunks remove sprout from top of carrots slice in one inch cubes slice celery two inches mix fruit and vegetables put into juicer,pour into glass and drink to spice up your taste add just a tid bit of cinnamon to give you that extra flavor if you would like to add more sweetness to your drink add another apple.

Slice a half cup of medium pear dice one large celery stalk use ginger root cut into one inch

Make sure all vegetable and fruit are wash and clean make sure you have the right measurements.Put all ingredients into blender pour ice cubes into glass.If you desire your drink to be creamy then add juice and five ice cube into blender.

Personally, I tend to go overboard on the strong flavors, just using up what I have on hand, but I drink it anyway. If you want to go easy on yourself and are ruled by your taste buds, then use this information. It has general information about this fruit or that is good for your kidneys, liver, etc, but to make this impress me would have been to include how many milligrams of vitamins you're consuming. You could easily drink way too much vitamin A, and if that only applies to supplements and not fresh foods, then that could be stated. So once purchased I was very happy! This book has many recipes that can satisfies anyone's taste buds. There are so many recipes that you can pick and choose from. After making a couple juices I can say that I feel really good. Now I don't feel so bloated and my stomach seems to be going down. I would definitely recommend this to some of you who are trying to adapt to a healthier lifestyle. This is very easy to get into so you won't find it so hard to do as you would if you were to do meal preps or cut out certain food from your daily meal intake. However, it obviously works better if you do then start to adapt some kind of healthier meals to your diet.

I plan on sharing this with all my belly dancing friends. Not only has my metabolism been boosted, but these are absolutely delicious. All are very easy to make with easily obtainable ingredients. These are great quick recipes for a good morning boost, a quick lunch recharge, and kid wrangling energy in the afternoon. If you have ever considered juicing, this is a great starter book that is sure to get you motivated and interested in a healthy kickstart!

All I can say is WOW! I have been checking out, and reviewing, a good deal of cookbooks recently. My partner and I are on a huge health-conscious kick since we've recently through a health scare. The doctor basically told us that we need to be taking better care of our bodies. You know what they say... you are what you eat? Well, I wonder how many people realize how true that statement is!!!

Considering all the cookbooks we've been trying out, it is very nice to throw in a quick snack here and there... or to have something quick for those rushed moments when we are always on the go. What better way than smoothies!?!? One of my favorite smoothies, though it is quite typical, is the Strawberry + Banana recipe that the author includes. It is so delicious! Plus, the author has sections of the recipe that give you possible variations that you can try out (I use the apple in mine for a sweeter favour), and she included a part that covers the weight loss benefits! I don't know about you, but I like to know what these things are doing rather than just accept that these are 'good' ingredients... and the author goes through the trouble of explaining what the ingredients do. For example, she mentions that "strawberries are high in antioxidants, which slows the aging process by blocking free radicals from the body's system."

I know that I will be making a ton more smoothies based on the recipes in the future!
